Sunshine Sunday

Last Sunday of Each Month from 8-10am | $5 General Admission, free for GCM Members
Sunshine Sunday is a monthly sensory-friendly event where children and families can explore the Museum with lights and sounds turned down and sensory-adapted tools, special programs, and community resources at their fingertips. During this time, children with sensory sensitivities and their families can experience the Museum and unite with others on a similar journey.

Neurodiversity-Affirming Amenities

GCM offers multiple amenities to make your next visit to GCM work for you and your family! Here’s what GCM offers for all guests, available upon request at Guest Services.

Adaptability Boxes
Adaptability tools are available at Guest Services, by request. Tools available include weighted vests, fidget toys, noise-canceling headphones, and more.

KultureCity Sensory Bags
These bags are designed to help the sensory needs of both adults and children. Filled with items that can help lessen sensory overload and engage, the bag items are also easily cleaned and sterilized for multiple uses. Includes noise-reducing headphones from Puro Sound Labs, marble fidget, noodle fidget, mesh fidget, strobe reduction glasses, VIP lanyard, visual cue card, and a weighted lap pad.

Camp Imagination

GCM strives for inclusion, so we are particularly proud to offer Neurodiversity-Affirming weeks at Camp Imagination! Each summer, select weeks of camp feature additional specially trained staff, a quiet space for campers who need a break, and an optional orientation the week prior, so campers will know exactly what to expect!
